Weitblick GmbH is a non-profit, politically and financially independent company based in Vorarlberg with a branch office in Vienna. As such, we develop and promote innovative projects in the areas of psychosocial health promotion, education, enviromental and climate education as well as environmental protection.
Goal and Concern
Our goal as Weitblick GmbH is to make a sustainable contribution to positive social development. We’re convinced that an ecologically, economically and socially sustainable society can only be achieved by raising awareness and developing the personality of the individual. The existential-analytical view of man according to Viktor. E. Frankl offers a clear orientation in this regard. Social challenges first and foremost represent challenges for the individual.
Our Responsibility
Raising awareness, increasing knowledge
We develop training projects and educational programmes and share related studies with committed individuals or institutions. As such, we happily invite you to participate and share as well. Weitblick meetings, forums, conferences, symposia, workshops, fireside chats and other events are ideal formats for this, because knowledge shared is knowledge gained.
Interdisciplinary Research
We conduct research at the intersection of psychology, psychotherapy, philosophy, sociology, educational science, economy and ecology. We use quantitative and qualitative research methods, pursuing a hermeneutic-phenomenological approach. Our research focus is primarily application-oriented and geared to current social challenges.
Cooperations, Funding and Expertise
We support and promote external activities and projects that coincide with the concerns and goals of Weitblick GmbH, provided that capacities are available. We also provide structural and content-related expertise, for example for funding planning or evaluation processes.
